At the Habilitation Centre, we give advice, support, education and treatment for children and adults whith disabilities. As one of our visitors, you get the opportunity to meet others in the same situation, train and work out together, share experiences and make new contacts. We service people with mental retardation, autism, physical disabilities, Asperger's syndrome, multiple disabilities, acquired brain injury and ADHD. We also support families and others in their enviroment and collaborate with staff in preschools, schools and group homes.

The Habilitation Centre has teams in Uppsala, Enköping, Håbo,Tierp/Älvkarleby and Östhammar. The teams include a physiotherapist, psychologist, special teacher, counselor, and in some cases also a recreational therapist. All teams also have access to a child neurologist, dietician, nurse, occupational therapist, secretary and speech therapist. When required, additional specialists can be involved, i.e. orthopaedic or hand surgeons.
