The Patients’ Advisory Committee
Patients, relatives and healthcare personnel can approach the Patients’ Advisory Committee to get help in solving problems that, for example, relate to a patient’s experience of the health service, contact with the health service or entitlement to treatment. This includes treatment that has been provided by the county council, as well as that given by other care providers but financed by the county council. The Committee has no disciplinary powers, but instead functions in an advisory capacity.
You can also get information, ask questions, or submit your views and suggestions for improvements to the Patients’ Advisory Committee. The members of the Patients’ Advisory Committee are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.
