"SUF” stands for the multi-agency collaboration work that we have been developing since 1999 in order to best meet the needs of children and parents in families where a parent has some type of cognitive impairment.
Cognitive impairment includes intellectual disabilities, neuropsychological disorders or acquired brain injury. When practitioners intervene to provide specialized support, it is very important to use all the combined knowledge and information that is available in supporting parents and their children.
